In this study of Generation X manners, Lelaina, the valedictorian of her college class, camcords her friends in a mock documentary of posteducation life. Troy is her best friend, a perpetually unemployed musical slacker. Vickie is a manager at the Gap who worries about the results of an AIDS test, while Sammy has problems grappling with his sexuality. When Lelaina meets Michael, an earnest video executive who takes her homemade video to his MTV-like station, she must decide what she values--the materialism of yuppie Michael or the philosophical musings of Troy.

this DVD film Reality Bites reflects reality and bite. that's why it's so painful to watch. that really sounds like truth. Troy, the rebel philosopher, and lelaina, intellectual, artistic, are sadly realistic. like many Americans of that generation, the two are ensimismados and narrow-minded. and they do deserve each other - at least for the time period is shown in the film. "reality bites" is not about being the majority. simply reflects the fact that many college graduates x gene did not grow up in due time, as it believes that oh so special beyond their teenage years. I wonder if this is why so many reviewers did not like the young Ben Stiller take on life ... just hate to see the similarity between them and the pathetic main characters.

I really have difficulty with short Shrift this movie: Reality Bites seems to arrive. Certainly, Ethan Hawke's appaling "I'm nuthin '" does not really do the DVD film Reality Bites any favors, but that aside, the reality of audio always has me in tears. The basic story, which focuses on a love story that people know exist but due to circumstances and the fear has manifested itself is not so universal and so well done. The "my life is falling apart" endless calls to the mental part number 0900 tragi-comedy is so, and the whole Reality Bites Romance movie is full of scenes of great continuing. Admittedly, being a single 25-year-old white male who originally saw the movie: Reality Bites a few years ago, I was probably captured in the optimal time to have an emotional impact, but I am going back to it again and again. Winona has never been better, and Janeane Garofalo is impressive as a series of low self-esteem with Stander night AIDS, paranoia and over-stuffed book. In addition, great cameos De La Soul Asylum Geezer and Evan Dando of the impressive turn over in order to add credits of the film. In general an impressive film, it is true that probably only be appreciated by a relatively narrow demographic.
